Sri Theja Vuppala

Sri Theja Vuppala is a research engineer at the University of Illinois. He is interested in the design, development, and validation of robotic platforms and autonomous systems. He is managing the TERRA-MEPP robot’s design, production, integration, and deployment with implementation and validation of its control and localization algorithms. Sri earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Kakinada, India. He went on to earn his master’s degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Oklahoma State University. He is also an FAA-certified Remote Pilot in Command.
